I am a pediatric occupational therapist with 30 years of experience. 20 of those years were working in the schools with students of all grades. For the past 10 years I have been in private practice (ohanaot.com) specializing in sensory processing disorders. Throughout these 3 decades I have learned a tremendous amount about how to help children succeed with handwriting. Sometimes the solutions are simple and overlooked (e.g. the furniture not fitting, or needing a highlighted line to get the letters on the line). Other times there are key developmental problems contributing to their struggle such as weak fingers or their body moves when their head moves due to primitive reflexes not being integrated (which causes a death grip on the pencil). In this coaching program I give you all my secrets to success. These are all solutions that I have found to actually work well over the years and I am so excited to share this with you!
Multi sensory teaching is the key to success with children who have handwriting difficulties.
