Over the past nine years, I have had the privilege of teaching various grade levels, gaining valuable insights and honing my skills along the way. I have dedicated one year to teaching second grade, four years to fourth grade, and four years to fifth grade. Each grade level has provided me with unique opportunities to connect with students and foster their academic growth.
I have a student-centered teaching style which places the learner at the heart of the educational process. I prioritizes building positive teacher-student relationships, tailoring instruction to individual needs, and fostering active engagement and exploration. I encourage students to be curious, collaborate with peers, and take ownership of their learning. I act as a facilitator, guiding and supporting students as they navigate the learning journey. My hope is my students become critical thinkers, problem-solvers, ultimately empowering my students to become independent, motivated, and lifelong learners.
