28 years teaching, primarily in middle schools; 5 years teaching with ActivInspire; Certified Promethean Trainer
My goal has always been to engage students to explore new subject matter and then challenge them to imagine, to think on their own, and to have some fun!
Certified Promethean trainer
Bachelor of Arts, San Diego State University Master of Arts, United States International University Administrative Credential, Point Loma College
I began teaching in 1973 as a middle school science teacher. I received my administrative credential and was appointed to be a principal in Yosemite National Park. I completed my teaching career teaching history and retired in 2011. Next I became a Certified Promethean Trainer for one the largest Promethean Resellers in the country. Technology has always amazed and attracted me and I enjoyed integrating it into my classes. My favorite moments in teaching are: watching kids' reactions when they have the "a ha" moment in learning.
