TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have had the amazing opportunity in the past 9 years to teach 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I spent one year as an Assistant Principal and I am currently on a journey as the Instructional Coordinator for my school district. As the Instructional Coordinator, I get the amazing opportunity to work with teachers in grades K-12.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in a teaching style that allows students to learn in a safe environment that uses rich vocabulary and literacy to support the content area in which the student is learning. I believe that students deserve the opportunity to learn with hands on materials when applicable and talk about their learning. I also believe it is our job to plant the love of learning in our students and encourage them with appropriate feedback to help them be successful.
