I have over two years of experience as an ESL college-level tutor for students of all levels of mastery of English; from beginners to advanced learners. Currently, I am a student-teacher for ESL 11th graders and on a journey to learn mutually about the strange adventure learning a new language can be!

I use a variety of methods, depending on the group's needs and the individual needs of each student as well. Due to my 11th graders, I am mostly using visual and hands-on activities for them, since it is the best way they learn.

The best honor I have received so far is to hear my kids say that they got their first "A" in English with me because they finally understand the material! That still chokes me up a bit when I think about it.

I currently am on my last year of my BA in Education in English as a Second Language for Secondary Levels (7-12th grades). In addition, I also have a minor in Education in Spanish as a Native Language for Secondary Levels.
