TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 30 years of public school teaching experience in English/Language Arts and hold National Board Certification in Early Adolescent English/Language Arts, a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a Bachelors degree in English. Apart from English, I am also an Experienced Registered Yoga Instructor and am trained in several areas, including trauma-informed, recovery, school, Baptiste, and Bhakti Yoga and have been teaching yoga for 13 years.

My teaching style is traditional and also hands-on, especially in the discipline of yoga. I am also interested in how yoga and mindfulness can enhance literacy.
