TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 17th year teaching middle school students! I currently work as a reading and writing teacher for 7th graders. I also have experience at the middle level with at-risk and special education students. Most of my experience in all of these areas lies with my passion, language arts.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is intentional and eclectic. I don't believe in reinventing the wheel!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Dream Team Award - presented by CH.A.D.D.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Moorhead State University, now known as Minnesota State University at Moorhead. I am qualified to teach K-8 in any subject and K-12 special education.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I almost went into print journalism, but thought teaching might be less stressful and take less time away from a future family. LOL! I know better now! :)
