TPR and Immersion are the primary teaching styles used in my lessons for language learning. For History and Social Studies a good combination of hands on activities and incorporating project based learning has shown me to produce the best learning result.

I am a product of the public school system, but attended a German-Immersion magnet school from elementary to middle school. I struggled in high school with the traditional education model, but ultimately graduated. I then re-discovered my passion for learning and children, and sought an education degree in social studies. I taught for three years and then decided to continue my own personal path of learning and growth and obtained a Juris Doctor. Since the birth of my daughter, I have seen the progress of natural curiosity and learning that comes naturally to children, and have begun to informally learn about Montessori and Waldorf education.
I am a former teacher who is now a work from home mom and an attorney. I am passionate about learning and believe that learning is something every person has innate desire for since birth. If allowed to follow ones interests, learning will come naturally and will lead a child and a person to discovery, development, enrichment, and success.
