TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Bonjour! ¡Hola! I’m Lisa from EXPLORE! Curriculum. I’m an experienced, enthusiastic classroom teacher who loves developing activities to help my students EXPLORE! I’ve taught English, French, and Spanish in grades 6-12 for over 20 years; 12 of those years were in international schools in Cameroon, Africa and in the Philippines. I'm currently helping build a French magnet program for middle school. I’m also a frequent workshop presenter, and I love helping teachers deepen their reading, vocabulary, and speaking instruction in their classrooms. I believe the best learning is guided play, and my resources are designed to help students experience the joy of discovering new content. I use comprehensible input, lots of production, and a hands-on / kinesthetic element for reinforcing language structure.
