Bonjour! ¡Hola! I’m Lisa from EXPLORE! Curriculum. I’m an experienced, enthusiastic classroom teacher who loves developing activities to help my students EXPLORE! I’ve taught English, French, and Spanish in grades 6-12 for over 20 years; 12 of those years were in international schools in Cameroon, Africa and in the Philippines. I'm currently helping build a French magnet program for middle school. I’m also a frequent workshop presenter, and I love helping teachers deepen their reading, vocabulary, and speaking instruction in their classrooms. I believe the best learning is guided play, and my resources are designed to help students experience the joy of discovering new content. I use comprehensible input, lots of production, and a hands-on / kinesthetic element for reinforcing language structure. When I'm not writing curriculum, I am usually volunteering at church or camping and jet skiing with my husband, four kids, Luna the dog, and el Picador, our pet hedgehog.
