TEACHING EXPERIENCE

14 years teaching elementary art.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Student Centered approach to learning. Facilitator, personal model, and delegator. I often teach laying the background knowledge of a culture, artist, or art style first. I use the SMART board on a daily bases and will be working on creating more SMART board files for TPT. Many of my lessons are cross curricular and I try to align them with the Common Core.
