Biography: EAC le Roux: I was fortunate enough to attend Muir College from grade 1 to 12 in Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape (SA). My formative years were very pleasant, and of my most memorable activities were to experiment with electronics, and to skin dive in Port Elizabeth. After my military training in Grahams Town in 1968, I did mechanical engineering at Stellenbosch University. Jobs that followed were: a) Lecturing in mechanical engineering subjects at PE Technicon b) Design engineering at Ford Motor Co (PE) c) Project management and System Engineering at Armscor in Pretoria. d) Currently I have become intensely aware of the importance of project management on complex projects, and is focussing on this, and system engineering management.
