TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 32nd year of teaching, with 28 years being at the same middle school teaching Read 180, 6th and 7th grade. Now I am teaching 1st grade at an elementary school and loving it.

My classroom is all about structure, routines, and accountability. My lessons are carefully layered, building up to the more complicated assignments, with the occasional cave painting or exploding pumpkin thrown in for fun.
