TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught high school language arts for 11 years at a large public school in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. After moving to Florida in 2014, I now teach 8th grade English and AP Literature (12th grade) at an independent school in Fort Myers.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to have FUN when teaching, using active, creative lessons that kids can really get involved in! Hands-on, high-interest, critical thinking activities are my jam. Super clear directions and beautiful graphics are also important components of my resources. I am constantly coming up with new ideas and trying them out in my own classroom!
