TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 16 years, 12 of those years have been spent in 3rd grade. My focus area of teaching is Math & I try to incorporate technology into all that we do. I absolutely LOVE my third graders--perfect age in my opinion. ;)

MY TEACHING STYLE

I find my kiddos learn best through exploring & I believe in hands-on learning. I teach using math rotations (not quite the same as centers in 3rd). I meet with small groups and pair students up according to ability. My students are always engaged & I enjoy it!! I'm always looking for new activities & new ways to present my curriculum.
