English Class with Julia

I'm a CELTA "A" certified teacher with an MA in English Philology in progress. In the years 2018-2021, I taught EFL in a private language school in Wrocław. In September 2021, I took a leap of faith and opened my own small online start-up :) I teach teenagers and young adults, helping them with exam preparations (mainly to Cambridge English Qualifications and the Polish matriculation exams).

My main teaching roles are that of a manager, facilitator and partner. In the classroom, I'm trying to be as supportive and patient as one can be in order to encourage my students' language growth. I'm very engaged in my students' learning process, at the same time shifting the responsibility of learning onto them with the use of online tools, quizzes, resources and extraordinary assignments. I absolutely love preparing lesson materials and I frequently opt for "unheard-of" topics to teach language skills. PS. I love homework assignments!

I have a BA degree in English Philology (with teaching qualifications), obtained at the University of Wrocław in June 2021. I'm a CELTA-certified teacher (I successfully completed CELTA in 2019, passing at Grade A) with a CAE certificate.

I'm currently an MA student at the University of Wrocław, where I study English Philology and specialise in EFL teaching.

Teaching is my hobby and my greatest passion! However, I also enjoy baking despite being absolutely bad at it (warning: the majority of my cakes are i-n-e-d-i-b-l-e) and I'm trying to learn French. I have a cat named Mentos and I couldn't imagine going a day without a good cup of tea :)
