By Empowering Organized Educators I am a former special educator who focused on high school STEM subjects. Since then, I have had the opportunity to teach children of all ages (with a focus on those in grades 5-7) as a tutor, therapist, and model teacher.
I believe in letting my students come to their own conclusions instead of just telling them what to think. Thus, my classroom is a highly explorative place, where students who often aren't given the chance to apply their critical thinking skills get a chance to grapple with mathematical and scientific concepts.
