TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 10th year teaching at a 9-12 high school in North Texas. I have taught Pre-AP Algebra 2, Pre-AP Pre-Calculus, Math Models, and Introduction to Engineering Design. I write and use my own curriculum throughout the year in all of those courses.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My students tell me that I have a way of making the complex mathematics concise, understandable and visually appealing! I teach the concepts in a way that all will understand, starting basic and with need-to-know details then diving into more complex situations. My goal is to give notes that are short, visually appealing, organized and to the point so that the rest of class time can be spent on building on the concepts, as well as, student exploration and practice.
