TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello! I am Eloisa Palacios and I have almost 20 years of experience in Foreign Language teaching. I have taught Spanish, English and German at a Highschool level and College level. I am excited to be able to share the activities I have created over time. I hope they be useful for you.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to combine grammar teaching with culture or everyday situations. I believe learning a new language is not only learning a new vocabulary or grammar, but also understand the culture behind it. I like to simplify everything. To take any complicated subject and simplify it so it be "user friendly". I believe the products I have made and I will keep making are excellent as an instruction or review of an already seen topic.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have a youtube channel called "Chismes Literarios" (Literature Gossip) where I tell a classic Literature story as if it were a gossip a friend told me. The idea is to make classic Literature easy to understand and also motivate people to read. Right now is only in Spanish but I plan to add subtitles or even maybe do it in English as well. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx85e0z2-AxP4q1yUYhl8dg If you are an Spanish Literature teacher I invite you to check it out :)
