TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my 10th year of teaching. I have taught first grade, third grade, fourth grade, and I am currently teaching kindergarten. I have also taught pre-k summer school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to constantly demonstrate and model for my students. So many of my kindergartners seem to get the most from visuals along with the description. I am very hands-on!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I was awarded the honor of Teacher of the Year in 2011. I am currently working on becoming a Certified Google Educator.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my Bachelor's Degrees from Missouri State University in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. My Master's is in Counseling from Missouri Baptist.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher and I finally got my wish! I am in my third year of kindergarten and can't wait to share products and ideas with you! I am also the Science Fair Coordinator for my school, I love putting together hands-on activities for students and their families! I have been married to my husband, Tony for 7 years. We have two sons, Alexander who is 3 and Remington who is 2.
