Edventures at Home

My name is Rebecca, and I'm so glad you've decided to stop by and check out my store. I have over 10 years of teaching experience - everything from piano lessons and drama classes to fourth grade at a local private school. In addition to creating resources for TpT, I currently tutor and teach classes for homeschool students and families in my community. All of my resources have been classroom tested by me, or by fellow homeschoolers and classroom educators. I am so excited to share not only my resources, but my love of teaching and learning, with you and your students!

I can safely say that I LOVE hands on learning. I love including games, crafts, and experiments whenever possible! My favorite current favorite educational tools are lapbooks - check out some of my creations here!

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Central Florida. What's a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies? In my case, it was a combination of studies in English, Performing Arts, and Interpersonal Communications. I completed my undergraduate capstone research on using the arts as a means of teaching English to adult ESL students.
