I have served in the classroom as a high school and middle school science teacher - Fun fun! I now serve as Dean of Students at a high school.
My teaching style is definitely experiential because I love to deliberately spark interest and curiosity using real-world applications.

Mom of two amazing boys (Yay boy moms!) Wife of one amazing Chi Town man! (Go White Sox!) As for me, I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago. You know, the land that has the greatest show on earth (Carnival)?! The land of the steelpan; the land of the hummingbirds; the most ecologically diverse island in the Caribbean?! I enjoy spending time in the outdoors and sewing. I walked into education as a second career and now it has become my everything! like seriously, why didn't someone tell me how amazing it was. I have come to realize that educating is a profession that can be extremely exhausting (mentally, physically, and emotionally) but I know in my heart that the benefits outweigh the fatigue a hundred times over.
