Eighth year middle school ELA teacher who loves to create my own resources and buy and use quality materials from other amazing educators. Building a plethora of middle school ELA resources specializing in grammar, writing, and reading comprehension worksheets and tools. Keep checking back for new material, which I will add weekly!

I'm most definitely a student-centered teacher. I believe it is absolutely necessary to set a clear example and give crystal clear instructions to middle schoolers; however, I will allow them to complete tasks on their own and learn to solve problems individually or with one another to practice problem solving and 21st Century Skills. I am striving to adapt the Common Core into my curriculum daily.

A 2003 Graduate of Potomac State College of West Virginia University with Associates of Arts in Journalism, a 2007 Graduate of West Virginia University with Regents Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Education, and a 2010 Graduate of Frostburg State University with a Masters of Arts Degree in Secondary English Education.

I am a lover of Jesus above all. I am recently engaged and planning my wedding for June 9, 2018. I am mom to Grace Elyssabeth, 10, and Kaiden Seth, 4. When I'm not working and spending time with my babies, I love to read, watch Netflix, take pictures, cook, and workout.
