I have spent the last 9 years fighting breast cancer while momming and developing the Social Black Belt, a psychology centered Social Emotional Learning program. Although I found the programs to be of sound information and effective in thwarting undesirable behaviors in children; social emotional learning does not need to be that complicated. Most recently I have developed worksheets for children and their parents that provide soundbites of information for required social emotional learning credits in schools.
