TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've worked with children since my teenage years! Professionally I've spent 3 years as a preschool teacher and I'm currently a kindergarten teacher in a public school. New York State Certified B-6 general/special ed, with a bilingual extension. In the summer, I work with children at the local YMCA.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to teach hands-on and include technology in the classroom. Technology is key and I include it in all of my lessons. Vocabulary is another key component, especially now with many ENL students in classrooms. Most of my teaching is done small-group and center based.
