I grew up in China and moved to England in 2007 to pursue my dream of becoming an inspirational teacher. For me, teaching has always been a calling. I had the opportunity to get into teaching in my early 20s after two years of vocational training in China. From 1999, I taught Mathematics at an international secondary school in I also co-taught Chinese literature for Year 9 students in Wuhan, China. My ambition was to become an international teacher which led me to the UK in 2007 to complete my PhD studies in Education. I was awarded a distinction with Specialism in Pedagogy. I completed a BSc in Business Studies from Hubei University in China. I have 15 years of teaching experience in the UK and China. From 2017 to 2022, I had the privilege to teach at two outstanding independent boarding schools before I started my PGCE (with QTS) Secondary Education Course (Chinese and French).
