TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Before moving to head up a college Drama program, Debra was the Executive Director/Instructor of the Performing Arts Education Centre of Kingwood. At PAEC, Debra taught Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Dance to students ages 3 to adult. Using both classroom and production methods, Debra wrote a number of children's plays both for child actors and adult actors alike. Debra also has experience teaching high school theatre arts classes. Debra continues to write not only for youth audiences and child actors, but also for college/university-aged performers and audiences.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love "talking" to my students. Start a lecture and snores will follow. Start a story and all eyes are on you.
