Special Education/ELA teacher in sub-separate, resource room, and also inclusion settings I have been working as a special education educator for 13 years with experience as a teacher and paraprofessional.
I do, we do, you do! My goal is to cultivate creative, intellectual thinkers. I believe in encouraging students to take responsibility for their own education. Learning should be fun. Forging trusting relationships of mutual respect is crucial to students' learning development. As a high school teacher in an urban setting, the only thing I can count on is to expect the unexpected, and I love that! I I believe in maintaining a positive attitude no matter what. I also strive to encourage my students to learn how to believe in themselves and become self-advocates. I am grateful for my students, for who they are, for what they have taught me, and I hope to guide them to be dreamers.

I love reading, writing, quality time with family, dog agility training with our Rhodesian Ridgeback Kimber, and horse-back riding. *Banner Art credits to: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Lovin-Lit https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Image-Boutique
