TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I lived in Japan for ten years teaching English in public and private schools. In Australia I have taught Japanese K to Year 12, and Visual Art K to Year 8 at various public and private schools, in NSW and Queensland.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I seek to make Japanese language learning enjoyable and highly accessible to all my students, providing a rich variety of activities. I encourage self-directed learning and students ownership of their own learning, so that student's are not overly teacher dependent and can continue to progress at their own pace.
