TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I spent most of my career teaching Deaf and Deaf+ students in the residential setting. I'm currently a university professor of deaf education, preparing future teachers of the deaf for the field.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is whatever it needs to be to get the job done.:) Overall, I think the combination of hands-on learning, technology manipulation, and art integration can really set a student, especially the kids I teach with special needs, up for success. I've stood on tables and painted my entire arm to prove a point before, and I would do it all again for my kids.
