Current full time dance teacher at a middle school in NYC. 17 years of dance teaching experience from babies to elders in public and private schools, recreational and competition studios, and in the community. Presents at National Dance Education Association Conferenes, writes dance education curriculum for my school district, ABT® Certified Teacher who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum, studied with master dance educator Anne Green Gilbert. Previously featured in Dance Studio Life Magazine for my dance education inititiaves. Constant dance education professional development. Active dancer and choreographer in NYC with multiple companies. Performs historic dance solos by Jane Dudley, Doris Humphrey, Louise Kloepper, Katherine Litz, Sybil Shearer, Anna Sokolow, Helen Tamiris, and Hortense Lieberthal Zera. Former Education Associate at New York Live Arts where I managed the dance education programs for the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company and led their K-12 residencies.
