Depending on the students I'm teaching, I like to consider my teaching style to be a blend of using inquiry, collaboration, and technology when applicable. I often utilize an active approach, where both the students and myself engage in the learning process, building off each others strengths. I try to model this by facilitating and asking probing questions to encourage and motivate students through self guiding principles.

After teaching for over 15 years, my wife and I thought it would be a good idea to start archiving and perhaps getting a donation or two to our crafts. I'm from the US, but have lived and taught in China, Mexico, Kuwait, Japan and Sri Lanka. My goal in opening this account is to share some of the riches that have worked for me in the various subjects I've taught over the years. I feel that what's worked for me can work for others and can be part of a greater educational experience.
