Crystal Clear Lessons

Hello! My name is Crystal and I am a Special Education teacher for over 7 years now. I am based out of San Antonio, Texas. Some back ground on myself; I have a passion for special education and have serviced my district in many different capacities. I have been in secondary my entire career, five years in high school and two years in the middle school. I have been in all areas of SPED such as an Inclusion/Co-teacher, Monitor teacher, ELAR Resource 8th grade teacher, I have also been a Life Skills teacher, BAC Unit and I served as SPED Department Chair for over two years. I am now happily now Co-Teaching 8th grade ELAR/US History. In my time in sped I have noticed a need for more secondary life skills and resource level materials. That our secondary students can relate to and really see their experiences reflected in.

I truly believe all students can be prepared to be as independent as possible with the right support and education. Every classroom should have a balance of tough love, understanding and support.

Graduated with honors; Magna Cum Laude.

I graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Ashford University. I got my Special Education teaching certification from Texas Teachers.
