Enrichment Specialist and Philosophy Instructor working with students K-8th grade.
I am an enrichment specialist who designs curriculum that is accessible to all students while also providing opportunities for deeper conceptual thinking. This gives all students opportunities to showcase their strengths, while meeting the needs of a broad range of learners. Religion, Philosophy, and even Math, are all ways of tapping into the oldest, most essential questions we have about humanity and the universe. I love sharing that wonder and excitement with my students.

My first experience working in a school was as a volunteer philosophy instructor for children. Every day I left the classroom with a spring in my step – I knew I was doing something worthwhile. I love getting that feeling every day, and living vicariously through students for whom these are ideas are so new and exciting. Outside of work I ride and tinker on motorcycles, do backwoods camping, and try to keep up on studying philosophy.
