TEACHING EXPERIENCE

We have 40+ years of combined teaching experience. We have taught in both high school and elementary school. We have experience in special education for grades k-6, early childhood, and behavior. We currently work as 3rd grade regular education teachers. We have experience with numerous presentations to teachers as well as administrators and parents.

MY TEACHING STYLE

We have an eclectic teaching style. We are fortunate to have numerous ours of training in many areas. We have extensive training in reading and in the areas of autism and behavior.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

We have both been recognized by receiving the " Teacher of the Year Awards".

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Terry attended Stephen F. Austin University and received her bachelors degree. Her masters degree is from University of Houston. She also attended Christchurch College of Education in New Zealand for a Whole Language Study. Karen attended Wayland Baptist University and received her bachelors degree.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

We have been called on by many districts to receive training and share the training with our fellow teachers. We presented at the TEPSA convention in 2016 in Austin, Texas.
