TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught general classroom music PreK - 6th grade along with middle school choir, private voice lessons, and show choir! Now I am a stay at home mama to my two little boys.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Most of my teaching philosophy stems from the Orff-Schulwerk method. I also love my students to experience world music and great music from the past. In my class we do lots of listening, moving, singing and playing!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I love seeing my students make connections between their personal lives and music.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated with my bachelor of arts in music education from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. I also have my Kodaly Level 1 and Orff Levels1 & 2.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I live in the south suburbs of Chicago with my husband and my two boys.
