I am a Kindergarten teacher. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 15 years.
Some say that they have never been in a Kindergarten class like mine. Haha! I don't know if that is a good thing or not! I like to do a lot of art, keep the kids moving around the room, and learn all day long. We are not a quiet classroom. I enjoy discussion and sharing. But, we understand that we are all kind and respect each other. Without that, we can't do anything.
Pride Award from my school district for having a collaborative Kindergarten team!
I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Cal State Bakersfield. I am currently working on my Reading Specialist Endorsement through Portland State University.
I have an amazing husband and two kids. I live on a Christmas Tree Farm in Sherwood Forest. I have 5 dogs, 5 cats, and quite a few chickens! I love gardening, reading, creating, being with the ocean, and teaching!
