Cari has more than 20 years of experience teaching in the classroom and in the development of curriculum. She hails from a tiny village in central Canada but has taught all over the world. Her experience has been focused on English Language Arts, especially in high school, but includes Social Studies for middle and high school as well. She has been a leader as head of department numerous times and takes great pride in her administrative roles.

More than anything Cari loves to know what students think and why they think it. Building an environment of trust and respect has garnered classrooms that are anything but ordinary. Cari believes that it is necessary to constantly be adapting what you teach and how you teach it! This is why she takes requests! What do you need for your classroom? What do you not have time to do? Let her know and she will create it!

Cari takes great pride in winning numerous "Teacher of the Year" awards while at an international school in Asia. Her innovative and inclusive style made her THE teacher that students could not wait to get in high school!

Cari received a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education with a focus on English, History and Social Studies.
