TEACHING EXPERIENCE

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to keep my students on their toes - to show them that learning is an adventure and you never know what is around the corner. One day we might do our subjects in the reverse order, or we might make up motions for our spelling rules. Learning is one of the most important things in life, and thus it should often be accompanied by laughter and noise. Though no one would consider me a particularly good singer, I find one of my favorite things about teaching, day in and day out, is singing with my class. As I'm sure you've experienced, song lyrics stick in your head like nothing else.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended a classical Christian school for high school, fell in love with classical education, and now teach in the grammar stage at a classical school to make up for all I missed out on.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Though I teach in a private Christian school, most of my materials on here should be suitable for use in many different settings: public, private, homeschool, special education. If you have any thoughts on how to make my resources more suited to a wider population, feel free to leave a comment! Thanks for stopping by.
