TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 2nd and 3rd grade for 11 years and loved every minute of it. I just completed my 2nd year as an Instructional Coach. I love helping teachers and I enjoy learning more every day from them as well as other resources. I truly believe you should not recreate the wheel! If someone already has what you are looking for, don't use your precious time recreating it! Educators were born to share. :)

MY TEACHING STYLE

My students work in groups a lot! I believe they learn a lot from each other and they need the interaction and movement time throughout the day.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Math. I also have my certification for Early Childhood. I love working with the younger kids, they get so excited to learn something new! I recently earned my Masters in Educational Technology. I love learning new ways to incorporate technology into the classroom.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am married to my best friend Steven. We have 3 wonderful kids and I enjoy watching them learn and grow. They all 3 attend school in my building and I love having them so close to me. I can't believe how fast they grow!
