Cristiane Galvão holds a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Taubaté, Brazil, and a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from California Lutheran University. She has taught English as a Second Language and has offered professional development to ESL and bilingual education teachers for 25 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that beginner-level ESL students and newcomers can be independent learners. I offer many opportunities for my students to learn vocabulary and basic grammar skills through student-centered activities.
