22 years in K-12 education. 12 years as a principal. 8+ years of experience teaching face-to-face and online preservice teachers in Elementary Education (K-8 and middle school specific), along with administrators. Experience with online master and undergraduate level courses. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for 3 online universities.

I enjoy teaching in a collaborative environment that allows students to communicate, work in groups, and learn in an experiential setting. I like to include a variety of learning activities and incorporate technology. As a principal, all staff meetings should offer a chance for professional development. "Stop having memo meetings".

During the day, I am a K-3 principal. I also teach online for several universities and provide online professional development courses. I am an educational consultant providing workshops and professional development both face-to-face and online. I have presented at several conferences and schools, as well as published several articles.
