MY TEACHING STYLE

I love teaching through literacy centers and interactive technology! My classroom is fully one-to-one with iPads, and I am enjoying coming up with activities to help my students soar. I teach reading and writing through literature circles, centers, class novels, conferencing, and I am always trying new things to help my students fall in love with books and become more confident writers.

I am a 24+ year veteran of middle level education, and I spent 15 of my summers with middle and high schoolers working at a youth camp called SummerSalt! I love writing curriculum and collaborating/sharing with others.
