I truly believe in Nelson Mandela’s statement “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.” The goal of education should be to prepare individuals to make our world a better place. I use my classroom as a platform to learn and advocate for social justice. I encourage my students to take their learning to make a difference in their communities. Some of the most important topics I teach my students to value are identity, knowledge, and respect.
