TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm Cari White, and I've got 18 years experience as a public school educator, including 16 years of teaching in the school library. I blog about reading and library learning at LibraryLearners.com. I love collaborating with classroom teachers to co-teach engaging, standards-based lessons together.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I help teachers and librarians like you grow engaged, enthusiastic elementary learners by sharing the best reading, writing, tech, and makerspace resources! I use learning centers (work stations) and makerspaces in my school library. I work hard to connect my students to the JOY of reading. I love the hum of purposeful activity as my students are moving, talking and learning! My library is RARELY quiet! My students are engaged in fun, standards-based learning!
