TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello! I'm currently in my 7th year teaching high school mathematics. Since I've started teaching high school, I've taught algebra 1, algebra 2, algebra 2 trigonometry honors, pre-calculus, AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC. Prior to teaching high school, I taught college algebra, pre-calculus, calculus I and calculus II at a four year university while I was a graduate student.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to make class interactive and hands on for students. As George Polya said "Mathematics is not a spectator sport." I believe it is important to get students involved with each lesson and actively engaged in what they are learning. I strive to create resources that will inspire and create this type of atmosphere within the classroom.
