TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 6th year teaching public school. I've enjoyed working with 1st and 2nd graders!

I tend to be a little dramatic in the classroom. We love to laugh, sing, dance, and have lots of fun! Learning shouldn't be all about benchmarks and exams, but understandably, we have to be serious at times.

I have a BA in Communications, but decided to change career paths at age 34. I took the GACE in Early Childhood Ed here in GA and passed without studying, found a principal willing to hire me based on my personality and drive, and then was accepted into the TAPP program (an alternative teacher preparatory program for certification).
