TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 18 years and have settled as a Gifted and Talented Learning Interventionist. I have taught 7th grade science, 6-8th grade Language Arts, 5th grade, and now teach 3-6 grade focusing mainly on Reading, Writing, and Math. Differentiating, Aligning curriculum, and Higher Level Thinking skills have been my focus over the last 5 years along with Rigor, Critical Thinking, Inquiry base learning, Growth Mind-Set and integrating technology.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My goal for my students is to be inspired to learn through creativity and projects where critical thinking is used. I enjoy creating projects and lessons where students don't realize they are using higher level thinking skills because they are having fun while learning.
