TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my third year teaching seventh grade Social Studies in Yorktown, VA.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to create activities to help students engage with difficult concepts in American History. To often, teachers gloss over difficult ideas, expecting that students have the background knowledge and literacy skills to comprehend them on their own. I focus on finding ways to help students bridge that gap!
