TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught social studies (U.S. and World History, American Government, ands Global Studies) for over 5 years to Regular and Special Education students. Teaching both Regular and Special Education students has given me the opportunity to practice different teaching strategies and techniques. I have become comfortable at differentiating my instruction, assignments, and assessments for student success.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My lessons are meant to engage my students and get them curious about what I am teaching. I relate what I am teaching to current events so that students can their personal experiences to what I am teaching to get them involved. I use SMART Board technology everyday in my classroom which has made such a huge difference with my students of all different learning styles, abilities, and interests.
